InventoryLab is a solid tool for listing products, building FBA shipments and tracking profit. But when a prep center builds your shipments for you, part of what you pay for moves to the prep center. This page compares InventoryLab with the Orderfy Prep WMS, our prep warehouse’s inventory manager. InventoryLab details come from its website, checked on October 9, 2026, with links at the end.
If you mainly use InventoryLab to build FBA shipments, print labels and track inventory and cost, the Orderfy Prep WMS can replace it once Orderfy Prep is your prep center. We build the shipments, and you track every unit, cost and list price in the WMS. If you rely on InventoryLab’s settlement-based profit reports or the Scoutify app, keep it for those jobs.
What InventoryLab Does
InventoryLab, now part of Threecolts, helps Amazon sellers list products, build FBA shipments in Amazon’s Send to Amazon workflow, print FNSKU and box labels, track cost of goods, and run profit and accounting reports. It also includes the Scoutify and ScoutX scouting apps.
As of October 2026, InventoryLab costs $69 a month, or $58 a month billed annually, with a 30-day free trial. It’s also included in Threecolts’ Seller 365 bundle, which runs from $69 to $199 a month depending on the plan.
How a Prep Center Changes the Job
Without a prep center, you list products, build the shipment, label every unit and pack the boxes yourself, and InventoryLab organizes that work.
With a prep center, the warehouse does the physical work. Some prep centers still ask you to build the shipment in your own InventoryLab account, or log in to your account to build it for you. At Orderfy Prep, our team builds the FBA shipments, prints and applies the labels, and records every step in the Orderfy Prep WMS, where you can follow it.
